NEW: Iran has, in recent minutes, launched multiple missiles and drones against vessels attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz along the Omani Route.
While this in and of itself is not terribly significant, it comes just a mere two days since Iran released the following statement through the IRGC:
“The insistence of the American arrogant regime on provoking vessels to pass through the illegally mined strait has been increasing maritime incidents day by day. The aggressive American military must know that if this trend continues, the scope of the response will extend to the aggressors' bases in the region. This is a serious warning.”
Clearly, the United States is not heeding this warning from Iran, so now it is certainly worth monitoring what, if any, Iranian escalation will be from what is obviously attempted vessel transits through Hormuz.
