Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said new measures targeting Tehran will be detailed Monday, aiming to intensify economic pressure without driving up oil prices.

Iran condemned the sanctions as “economic terrorism.”

Meanwhile, renewed U.S. pressure on Iranian oil exports is already disrupting shipments to China and raising concerns over global energy supplies.
