RoboPay now supports @stripe's Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) on @tempo , alongside x402 on Base. Robots accept payments from AI agents over HTTP, and every task leaves an onchain payment trail. 1. Agent sends an HTTP request asking a robot to perform a task. 2. Robot replies 402 Payment Required with its price and both rails' terms. 3. Agent signs a stablecoin transfer and retries. No funds have moved yet. 4. Payment settles onchain. On x402 a facilitator broadcasts it on Base. On MPP the robot broadcasts it itself on Tempo, no third party in the settlement path. 5. Payment verified, robot performs the task, agent gets HTTP 200 with the tx hash as the receipt.
