Wall Street banking giant Citi announced the launch of Custody+, a new suite of near- and real-time custody solutions, and said it expects to go live with digital asset custody later this year, starting with Bitcoin. The service will be built on Citi’s common digital asset architecture and is designed to integrate traditional and crypto custody capabilities within the same framework, providing institutional clients with a one-stop custody experience.

Custody+ also integrates real-time settlement, cash and liquidity management, FX, and AI-powered market intelligence. Through Citi Token Services, Citi also enables near-instantaneous movement of tokenized deposits on a 24/7 basis across select markets.
