NVIDIA JUST CONFIRMED ITS OHIO DATA CENTER DEAL WITH OPENAI

Nvidia $NVDA will be the exclusive host for AI compute at SB Energy's PORTS-Pike Technology Campus in Pike County, Ohio, built on the site of the old Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant.

OpenAI is the customer, under a 20-year lease with SB Energy building, owning, and operating the data center.

Initial capacity: 4.25 IT-GW, with NVIDIA holding an option on another 3.75 IT-GW, bringing the total to 8 IT-GW for OpenAI. Capacity comes online in phases starting 2028.

NVIDIA is also investing $1.5 billion directly in SB Energy, joining SoftBank and OpenAI as investors in the company.
