Gun rights advocates are celebrating a "huge" legal win after a judge ruled a firearms restriction unconstitutional.

Gun Owners of America and Silencer Shop have notified the Trump administration that they plan to begin transfers without the federal registration and approval process.

Just after midnight Thursday, two gun owners walked out of a Texas firearms dealer with silencers without first completing the process that has governed such transfers for generations, according to Gun Owners of America.

The Justice Department is not expected to appeal the decision, according to Rep. Andrew Clyde.
