1. If MBS felt that he needs to talk to Trump directly that means he is seriously thinking that escalation is imminent and that the Saudi message that was conveyed by KBS earlier this week didn’t help.
2. Gulf leaders, especially the Saudi and Qatari ones, have a lot of influence over Trump
