The House flipped on Tuesday night, meaning Hill will no longer be in the top spot as chair. During his tenure, the committee passed the first federal framework for stablecoins as well as a sweeping crypto bill. Later on Wednesday, the AP called another tight race in Michigan, ousting current Rep. Bill Huizenga to Democratic candidate Sean McCann.
