SCHUMER VOWS TO END IRAN WAR USING DEMOCRATS' NEW CONGRESSIONAL MAJORITY
Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer declared that Democrats will move to end the Iran war, citing Congress's constitutional authority over federal spending.
“We are going to end the war,” Schumer said Wednesday, emphasizing that some Republicans already support efforts to halt the conflict.
Congress previously passed measures calling for an end to hostilities, including a September House resolution backed by seven Republicans.
