Leading hardware wallet provider @Ledger has just gone live with support for $USAT on the @Celo blockchain.
@usat is the fully-US regulated USD stablecoin issued by @Anchorage and supported by @Tether itself.

- Native Celo gas payments
The last item on this list is especially interesting.
Since as far back as 2023, users on $CELO have been able to use stablecoins to pay for gas fees on the chain, but it was in July 2026 that Ledger supported this functionality natively.
Fast-forward to November 2026, and Celo users have as many as 19 different stablecoins to choose from when it comes to gas payments, spanning multiple different currencies.
