Iran and the US are reviewing the latest proposals from mediators on how to bridge their divides and avert another round of all-out war, according to a diplomat briefed on the matter.
Qatari mediators flew to Tehran on Monday for more talks with Iranian officials and returned late in the day, said the diplomat, who asked not to be identified discussing sensitive matters. The talks in the Iranian capital were positive, the diplomat said.
A Qatar foreign ministry spokesperson later confirmed the deliberations by the two sides, Al Jazeera reported. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-11-03/us-iran-weigh-mediators-proposals-amid-limited-airstrikes?taid=6ae9a297ec3fc20001e2ff20&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_content=business&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
