Crypto can sometimes feel like a solution in search of a problem. I can think of few better problems we solve than access to private, sovereign payments for those who have been censored by the fiat banking system -- for any reason whatsoever involving consenting adults.
Violet (@rollergirlVi) and Mylo (@zReadyMouse) are accomplishing that in spades, becoming the most prolific onboarders that I've met in my many years in Zcash. They have personally placed wallets and ZEC into so many hands as to rival Roger Ver when he was 'Bitcoin Jesus' for BTC.
Violet frequently sends me selfies with the shielded address of new Zcash users she onboards, to whom I send a little ZEC with a shielded welcome memo. There were many times in the past year that I simply could not keep up because I was literally rate-limited by Zcash confirmation times.
I've been off of X for a little bit, but I don't need to see the vitriol to know it's there. Those casting such stones should, among other acts of self-reflection, compare what they themselves have done to put Zcash into actual hands of those in desperate need of private, uncensorable, peer-to-peer digital cash. You think you believe in the mission of Zcash, that is, until you've met Violet. I wish I had half her onboarding-chops.
I support Violet, Mylo, and their efforts to onboard countless new Zcash users both within and outside of their communities. I have zero need to qualify my support, and I am pleased to call them friends. Zcash is for everyone.
