$SPCX + Elon wouldn’t be heavily building in the Neocloud space if they didn’t see the ROI.
Samsung wouldn’t be selling 5-10Y LTAs to Chinese big tech, if Alibaba/Tencent/Bytedance saw memory overflooding in 2 years.
$LITE wouldn’t be sold out into 2029 and announce new $5B UHP laser contracts if optical demand didn’t persist.
It’s interesting seeing the very same people long $SNDK, $NBIS, to $COHR 2 months ago. Flip flop on every market narrative from the initial Iran War to the current “AI Bubble”.
I’d argue 180x fwd P/E cybersecurity and biotech stocks are more of a bubble than 3 P/E memory companies with hyperscaler LTAs.
Quoted @JonahLupton: Every week there’s a new FUD narrative for the memory companies and the neoclouds.
Over the weekend a couple accounts claimed that B300s were readily available and prices were under $5 per hour. I call bullshit.
Over the past 24 hours I’ve spoken to several people who are either buying compute or selling compute and they all confirm that price is complete nonsense.
You can’t even get $5 per hour for B300s on long term contracts with big upfront payments because the compute sellers know demand is so high that it would be stupid to sell capacity that far below market prices.
Thankfully we have multiple data companies that track GPU prices… B300s are currently renting at $10-12 per hour depending on who you are buying from.
If I see you spreading FUD… I’m just going to block you.
