GPT-6.2 Astra just showed up on the Codex usage page.
The UI still says GPT-6 Astra, but the breakdown flipped to 6.2. A bunch of people posted the same screenshot this afternoon, so it looks like a wide gray rollout, not one account glitching out.
The official model catalog still doesn’t list gpt-6.2-astra. The earlier 6.1 Astra got cut over safety issues, and folks are guessing they fixed it and bumped the number to 6.2.
Tomorrow’s the last day of OpenAI’s 28-day campaign. Wouldn’t be shocked if they announce it then.
