Update on yesterday’s Binance security incident.
The Allora network and the ALLO token contract are secure, and ALLO held outside Binance was not affected.
Some ALLO held on Binance was among the assets taken in the attack. As soon as this was identified, the emergency safeguard built into the ALLO token contract, to stop the attacker from furthering transferring the stolen tokens, was executed. The attacker can no longer move, sell, or use that ALLO.
None of the stolen ALLO was sold or moved out of the attacker’s wallets.
Restoration of the affected ALLO to Binance is underway, in full and with no change to total ALLO supply.
Allora will never DM you or ask you to send tokens or connect your wallet.
We’ll post an update once the restoration is complete.
