Binance got hacked. DeXe didn’t. Here’s what happened to DEXE.
Last night at 20:24 UTC, a Binance hot wallet on Ethereum was drained in one of the largest exploits in crypto history. This was a Binance incident.
✅ DeXe Protocol, smart contracts and DAO treasuries were not affected
✅ The DEXE token contract was not exploited
What actually happened to DEXE:
127,565 DEXE from Binance’s hot wallet ended up with the attacker.
All of it has already been sold for WETH on PancakeSwap v3 (Ethereum) earlier this morning.
Binance says user funds are safe and it will cover all losses.
Stay sharp:
There is no token migration, no “compensation claim” and no airdrop. If it’s in your DMs, it’s a scam.
For deposit and withdrawal status, check Binance’s official channels only.
Official DeXe updates come only from @DexeNetwork and our official Telegram.
Markets are shaky after this hack. DeXe is fine. We keep building.
