Iraq’s crude exports rebound towards 3 million bpd
Iraq’s crude exports are staging a strong recovery, with Basrah loadings expected to average near 3.00 million barrels per day in October, up from 2.58 million in September and a May trough of just 98,000 barrels per day. The rebound highlights the resilience of Middle Eastern #oil flows despite heightened maritime security risks. However, increasingly opaque tanker movements, particularly along routes towards Europe, continue to complicate visibility over regional #crude shipments.
