Reply to @bricexeth: The biggest BTC traders on Hyperliquid just went net short 🐋
First time since March, per Glassnode.
Net short = they're now betting more on BTC going down than up.
Why we care: last time this group switched sides, they nailed it. Short in March, flipped long near the bottom, and BTC was $78K by April 22.
Now look where they're shorting from:
🔻 BTC ~$81K
🔻 Liquidation clusters stacked at $85K and $87K right above
If price grinds up there, shorts get force-closed by buying back BTC. That's the squeeze.
FOMC tonight. ~$10.9B options expire Friday, max pain $78K.
We're watching $77.6K (True Market Mean). Lose it and the whales were right again. Push to $85K and they become the fuel.
