An AI agent deposits USDC into a payment channel and uses signed vouchers to record what it owes for API calls. The merchant then claims what it is owed on Solana in batches. PayAI pays the Solana fees for setting up and settling the channels. I think AI agents paying per call will settle more than $1b a year in USDC on Solana by the end of 2028.
