Bittensor Ecosystem Highlights :: October 19–25, 2026
Affine just launched Bittensor’s first public AI video studio.
This week’s biggest stories across Bittensor came from Affine, IOTA, Trishool, Lium, Hippius, SayGM, Leadpoet, Vidaio and Yugos.
[ Affine - Subnet 120 ]
Affine launched its first AI video-generation studio, letting anyone create videos with sound from simple text prompts.
The team also launched a competition on Subnet 120 to make video generation faster and more efficient by optimizing how the model processes information.
[ @IOTA_SN9 - Subnet 9 ]
IOTA made one of decentralized AI training’s biggest bottlenecks nearly 5× faster, cutting model-merging time from 32 to 7 minutes.
In a test with 140 machines training a 16B model, the update processed 19% more tokens in 24 hours without sacrificing model quality.
[ @trishoolai - Subnet 23 ]
The team behind Trishool launched Astroware’s AI safety platform, with HaloGuard EU now live to help companies screen AI outputs against EU AI Act restrictions.
Astroware plans to buy continuous AI security testing from Subnet 23, turning miners’ work into a commercial service.
The team also plans to use most of Trishool’s initial revenue from Astroware for alpha buybacks, once enterprise sales grow.
[ @lium_io - Subnet 51 ]
Lium now hosts over $30M worth of GPU hardware, including 225 NVIDIA B300s, with 91% of its available capacity already rented.
[ @Hippius_cloud - Subnet 75 ]
Hippius launched Confidential Compute, bringing secure cloud servers, databases and developer infrastructure to its decentralized platform.
Data stays encrypted even while applications run, so the people operating the servers cannot read it.
Hippius also unveiled its redesigned website, reflecting its evolution from a storage network into a full cloud platform.
[ @say_gm_ - Subnet 28 ]
SayGM published a head-to-head comparison with OpenRouter, reporting prices up to 43% lower on selected frontier AI models.
The team also highlights its confidential gateway, designed to keep user prompts private, while OpenRouter leads in model selection and scale.
[ @LeadpoetAI - Subnet 71 ]
Leadpoet launched its AI sales agent to find potential buyers, write personalized messages and automate follow-ups on LinkedIn and email.
The team says Dropbox, OnePatch (YC26) and Muttdata are already using it.
[ @vidaio_ - Subnet 85 ]
Vidaio announced Tobruk Protective Security Solutions as its third sales partner, expanding its reach through an established network of clients and new markets.
[ @yugosai - Subnet 34 ]
BitMind pivoted Subnet 34 from deepfake detection to Yugos, a new AI platform that automatically selects the best model and provider for each request.
Through a single API, users can access AI models while Bittensor miners compete to improve how Yugos balances intelligence, speed and cost.
