$INJ x @BDACSKorea: Korea’s First Won-Backed Stablecoin is Coming Onchain for RWAs @injective announced a partnership with BDACS, one of Korea’s leading digital asset infrastructure companies and the country’s largest digital asset custodian, to bring KRW1, Korea’s first stablecoin fully backed 1:1 by the Korean won into the Injective ecosystem. Under the MOU, KRW1 will enable tokenized assets on Injective to trade and settle directly in Korean won, without routing through USD stablecoins. This reduces FX exposure for Korean institutions and creates a native won settlement layer for onchain markets. BDACS has already surpassed 80 billion KRW in assets under custody and issued KRW1 as a 1:1 won-backed stablecoin. The collaboration aligns with Korea’s push toward clearer regulation, including the Digital Asset Basic Act. “Bringing a Korean won settlement layer onchain is an important step for tokenized finance in Korea,” said @ericinjective, Co-founder of Injective.
