NU7 is set for mainnet block 3,543,405, expected around Nov. 5th, per Zakura, the full node project led by Zcash cofounder Sean Bowe. The upgrade retires the v4 transaction format Sprout depends on, and the spec warns Sprout spending "may never be reenabled." NU7 also brings 25 second blocks.
