OpenAI is moving to lock in investor commitments ahead of Anthropic's expected public market debut in mid-November, according to two people familiar with the matter.
- SoftBank $SFTBY, MGX and other existing backers are in talks to join the round, one person said - OpenAI told investors it reached $50B in annualized revenue and expects $70B by year-end, one person said - OpenAI was last valued at $852B in March
OpenAI and SoftBank declined to comment. Anthropic and MGX did not immediately respond to requests for comment, per Reuters.
