It would be the second major deal between the two companies
Nscale, the Nvidia $NVDA backed AI cloud company, is in talks to sell computing power to Anthropic for a second building at its Monarch data center campus in West Virginia, per Bloomberg.
The building would deliver 460 megawatts of computing power using Nvidia's Vera Rubin chips. Anthropic also reportedly has the right of first refusal on a third building.
Anthropic already has agreements with Nscale worth up to about $44.6 billion, according to Nscale's IPO filing.
Microsoft $MSFT originally planned to lease part of the campus, but walked away over the summer, which opened the door for Anthropic.
A deal could be finalized in the coming days, though talks are ongoing and details could change. Nscale is seeking about a $30 billion valuation in its upcoming IPO.
