U.S. CONSIDERS USING “MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS” AGAINST IRAN
The Pentagon has reportedly developed new strike plans targeting Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear facilities, potentially involving the GBU-43/B MOAB, America's largest non-nuclear bomb.
According to CNN, the plans could be considered before or after the U.S. midterm elections, if President Trump authorizes renewed military operations.
However, officials reportedly question whether the weapon could destroy deeply buried Iranian nuclear facilities, while warning of significant civilian casualty risks.
No strike has been authorized or announced. The White House says Trump is keeping all options available.
