Blockchain is becoming public infrastructure.
The UAE has recently announced two interesting government use cases on @avax, showing how blockchain is moving beyond financial applications and into essential public services.
1. UAE PASS — National Digital Identity on blockchain.
The UAE is upgrading the Digital Vault of its national identity platform, serving over 12.5 million people, to Avalanche. The goal is to make government-issued documents more secure, verifiable, and easier to share across institutions.
2. DIFC Courts — Digital Trust Across Borders
Dubai’s DIFC Courts is using Avalanche to allow court documents to be independently verified anywhere in the world within seconds, without exposing confidential information.
Two very different applications, but one common theme: Using blockchain infrastructure to make trust, verification, and public services more efficient.
I believe this is evidently a trend we will continue to see accelerate — as governments move from exploring blockchain to integrating it into the services people and businesses rely on every day. The most meaningful blockchain adoption may be the kind people don’t even notice. And it is, and will be built on @avax .
