quote: To those who followed my thread earlier: India's ministry of external affairs said today (Oct 11) there was an attack against Nicaragua-flagged Petro Dolphin (1072294). Earlier, Ambrey reported an attack against a Nicaragua-flagged oil products tanker off Sohar, Oman. Based on the latest from the Indian authorities, the tanker that was attacked off Sohar appears to have been the Petro Dolphin. Unfortunately, 2 Indian seafarers are missing. The tanker appears to be falsely flagged to Nicaragua. I updated this attack on the @WashInstitute interactive map: https://t.co/pkw5jf7E4B If more details emerge, we will update. As always, we are adhereing to confirmed information from multiple sources. An incident I did not include in these numbers is an attack off Sohar, Oman, involving a Nicaragua-flagged oil products tanker, which Ambrey reported today. I'm waiting for more details on this one, but it is included on the map below. Twelve crew members were rescued and two others "remained missing," according to Ambrey.
