RT @AryJeayBackup: The IRGC-Navy says a 2nd Supertanker got struck by a mine in the Strait of Hormoz. The statement says a rogue supertanker exploded when a naval mine, this afternoon in the southern part of the Strait of Hormoz, struck the ship resulting in an explosion and fire in the engine room. The ship, carrying a cargo of crude oil and intending to exit the Strait of Hormoz, had turned off AIS and violated the regulations of the Strait. As a result of deviating from the authorized route, it suffered this accident. This is the 3rd tanker since yesterday that has collided with naval mines while traveling on an unauthorized route in the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in a fire.
