Bittensor Ecosystem Highlights :: October 5–11, 2026
This week’s biggest stories across Bittensor came from Lium, Actual, Score, Reliquary, Engy, Beam and Almanac.
[ @lium_io - Subnet 51 ] Lium’s GPU utilization reached an all-time high, with most GPU types on the platform fully rented out.
Lium also reported $1.4M in GPU spending over the last 30 days, up 45% from the previous month. Rentals more than doubled to 17,497, while paying customers grew 16% to 1,379.
[ @actualinc - Subnet 95 ] Actual Computer unveiled toks, a new tokenizer that its benchmarks suggest could be the fastest in the world.
It converts text into tokens for AI models, running up to 151× faster than Hugging Face tokenizers and outperforming OpenAI’s tiktoken in every compatible test, with identical results. The team also released toks as open-source software under Apache 2.0, bringing these performance gains to the wider AI developer community.
[ @webuildscore - Subnet 44 ] Manako officially announced its rollout with Avia Thevenin & Ducrot, starting with 124 unmanned fuel stations in France. Its AI detects equipment and payment failures using existing cameras, with deployment taking just five minutes per station.
Score also launched Detect Football Event, a new Subnet 44 challenge where miners compete to identify key moments in youth football matches.
[ @reliquary_ai - Subnet 81 ] Reliquary unveiled its decentralized post-training platform, designed to help other Bittensor teams improve their AI models. It starts with a service that generates training data tailored to each team's models and tasks, with early access now open.
[ @engyai - Subnet 53 ] Engy joined @Architect_Fi’s Liquid Inference as a launch provider, bringing Bittensor inference to a real-time AI exchange where providers compete on price across 700+ models.
[ @b1m_ai - Subnet 105 ] Beam launched an integration with @NousResearch’s Hermes Agent, one of the most popular open-source AI agents. Hermes can now use Beam to move and stream data across clouds, private servers and apps, automating workflows between them.
[ @almnc_ai - Subnet 41 ] Almanac generated a record $69,868 in fees in September, up 366% from August, and used all of it to buy back and burn TAO and Subnet 41 alpha.
