Four sessions. One focus: the future of the agent economy.
Kite participated in four roundtables and panels at EastPoint:Seoul 2026, hosted by @0xEastPoint, exploring agentic commerce, financial infrastructure, and agent identity.
The event brought together representatives from KakaoPay, @googlecloud, @Visa, LG Electronics (@LGE_Global), Samsung Card (@withSamsungCard), and Franklin Templeton (@FTI_US), alongside institutions including the Bank of Korea (@bok_hub) and Korea Exchange.
Our CMO @Cindyshi0907 joined the main stage for “Machine-to-Machine Money: Agentic Commerce and the New Settlement Layer.”
Joining her were Jansen Teng, Co-Founder of @virtuals_io; Joe Hwang, Regional Lead at @googlecloud; and Dennis Won, CTO of Newton Labs (@Newton_xyz). The panel was moderated by Jongsub Lee, Professor at Seoul National University.
The session’s central questions:
▷ How can agents establish verifiable identities and transact within clearly defined permissions?
▷ Who should be accountable when an agent makes the wrong purchase or executes a transaction in error?
▷ Do agent payments need new settlement infrastructure, or can existing payment systems support them?
These questions connect directly to Kite’s Human-Agent-Session identity architecture: distinguishing the person granting authority, the agent acting on it, and the permissions for each session.
Thank you to @0xEastPoint for bringing this conversation together. We’ll keep building the infrastructure for trusted agentic commerce. 🪁(Historical earnings: For 2026Q2 (period ended 2026-03-31), Visa reported net income of USD 11.874 billion.
