At least 15 attacks against tankers since Sept 28 in the Strait of Hormuz. Plus at least one hailing incident (the IRGC requested that a vessel abort its voyage). We have updated the @WashInstitute map with all the attacks.
This map not only tracks maritime attacks and incidents in the MENA region since 2017. It also shows how the maritime landscape has been changing over the past several years and helps explain what this means for the energy industry in the region, and global markets.
