Thank you @ChairmanSelig and @CFTC for taking an important step toward a clear federal path for crypto platforms to offer leveraged trading to U.S. customers.

Done well, this effort can replace a patchwork of state rules with strong, consistent federal standards that protect customers and markets. @coinbase welcome today’s announcement and we look forward to reviewing the proposal and offering our comments.

Congress still needs to pass market structure legislation. But these efforts can and should move forward together. Americans deserve clear rules and strong federal oversight for these markets.
