Pyth September 2026 Report

Article contributed by Douro Labs
Pyth closed September with record numbers, new products, broader market coverage, and a stronger self-serve experience than ever before. ARR grew to $11.5M (+10.6% MoM), monthly active users of Pyth Terminal grew to 129,265 (+44.1% MoM), and the Pyth Pro data catalog expanded to over 3,811 symbols.
September also brought a major step for the Pyth Data Marketplace: approval to distribute Nasdaq Basic, Nasdaq’s real-time quote and trade data for U.S. equities. It’s a sign of the Marketplace’s growing momentum and of more institutional data becoming accessible to software-driven applications.
The numbers tell a story larger than growth alone. Across the quarter, Pyth expanded what market data can be, how it can be discovered, and where it can be used, closing September with commercial momentum, a deeper product experience, and more of the world priced around the clock.
$11.5M in ARR. More feeds. More markets priced continuously.
September ended with paid subscriptions running at an annualized pace of about $11.5 million, up from the $10.4 million reported in August. This growth represents around $1.06 million in annualized subscription value added during the month. Even more impressive, nearly half of the revenue added in September came from touchless signups (self-serve experience in Pyth Terminal).
These numbers are easy to read as product activity. Together, they show something more important: market-data discovery is becoming a repeatable software workflow. Users are now searching, comparing, inspecting, generating credentials, and evaluating whether the data fits the systems they are building.
September By the Numbers

Pyth Pro: The API-first Market-Data Product
Pyth Pro continued to turn market-data discovery into a self-serve workflow through the Pyth Terminal. Users can compare feeds, inspect publisher and session details, generate API keys, and move toward integration without a traditional sales process.
That shift matters as discovery increasingly leads directly to API requests, automated strategies, AI workflows, and continuous risk monitoring.
The Most-Viewed Feeds in September

The overall Terminal ranking was led by indices and continuous commodity pricing: Gold Index (179,750 views), PythOil Index (159,525), 1 Ounce Gold Index (122,336), Silver Index (68,209), and Natural Gas Index (32,377). Copper (27,930) and Brent (11,531) also ranked highly.
Outside the indices catalog, exploration was led by spot gold (9,311 views), Platinum (5,662), WTI December futures (4,803), Palladium (4,381), and Bitcoin (4,028).
The pattern is notable. Gold, oil, silver, and natural gas indices now attract more Terminal exploration than individual crypto feeds, while spot metals, futures, and Bitcoin continue to anchor broader Pyth Pro discovery.
Pyth Indices: Markets That Do NOT Close
In September, Pyth Indices grew from 45 to 50 stable indices, expanding coverage across U.S. and Asian equities, ETFs, metals, and energy. New benchmarks from WTI and Brent to Henry Hub gas and 1 Ounce Gold, bring more traditionally time-bound markets into continuous pricing.

September also brought a major expansion to Pyth Indices with 12 new public indices, including Amazon, Meta, Coinbase, Palantir, Oracle, Nebius, Samsung, SK Hynix, SanDisk, and three ETF-based indices.
Alongside new continuous commodity and energy benchmarks such as WTI 1M, Brent 1M, Henry Hub Gas 1M and LD1, London WTI 1M, 1 Ounce Gold, RNATGAS, RWTI, and RBRENT.
Samsung became the suite’s first Korea-listed name, while the broader additions extended continuous pricing across U.S. and Asian equities, commodities, metals, and ETFs.
The user data shows why this expansion matters. The top four feeds in Terminal were all commodity or metal indices. Interest is not distributed evenly across the catalog: markets that traditionally close, pause, or fragment across venues are generating the strongest interest in continuous pricing.
The Data Marketplace: Welcome Nasdaq
Pyth was approved as an external distributor of Nasdaq Basic, Nasdaq’s real-time quote and trade product for U.S. equities, which will be distributed through the Pyth Data Marketplace.
The approval gives Nasdaq another channel to reach software-driven financial applications while showing how the Marketplace can connect institutional data providers with blockchain applications, fintech platforms, trading venues, and other systems built around programmable access to market data.
Pyth’s institutional publisher base now includes Nasdaq, Fidelity Investments, Kalshi, the US Department of Commerce, Cboe, and many others. Together, these institutions represent a shift toward distributing data closer to its source and making specialist datasets available through a shared integration.
The result of these new interactions is a broader market-data layer: prices, exchange-originated data, specialist datasets, and market context delivered to applications through programmable infrastructure.

What September Showed
August showed that Pyth’s commercial model was beginning to scale.
September showed the model widening across products, markets, and distribution channels.
The Terminal is becoming a scalable product experience for market-data discovery. Pyth Indices are extending continuous pricing into commodities, metals, equities, and ETFs. The Data Marketplace is opening a distribution channel for exchange-originated and specialist datasets.
The team stayed close to that market throughout the month, with contributors active across Miami, London, Korea, and Singapore. The focus was straightforward: remain close to institutions, understand where market-data demand is moving, and continue expanding Pyth’s product and coverage.
These developments are connected. As more institutions contribute data and more applications consume it, Pyth becomes useful across a wider range of financial workflows. More markets can be priced continuously, more datasets can reach software-driven applications, and more teams can evaluate and integrate market data without starting with a traditional sales process.
The price of everything is becoming a product people can explore, an API systems can consume, and a distribution layer institutions can build on.
