Anthropic lost 42b, which sounds bad, but they have way more than $42 in assets. They basically should be just covering their electricity costs and taking on debt or investors for everything else and maximizing growth.
When archegos lost 42b, there was nothing to back it. If shit hits the fan with anthropic, the models, the gpus, all the actual things with value are still there. Debt < assets, the market will clear at some price and the probably the only real change will be anthropic board seats.
