"Real relief on gas prices is coming virtually immediately."
National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett says drivers could soon see prices ease as crude oil traffic through the Strait of Hormuz rebounds toward prewar levels.
Hassett says the U.S. Navy has helped reopen the strait to crude shipments while Iranian oil remains squeezed, and President Trump is working with world leaders to get more refined fuel onto the global market.
