every day i get more bearish on the memecoin trenches

i think there will be a big big exodus from the 'trenches' in the future. everyone who made memecoins great in 2023 has left. early pepe, spx6900, hpos10inu, milady, remilio, all the main people who created the culture all gone. whats left is remaining tourists and gambling addicted people and the sociopath actors ruling them (alon, ansem, frank, orangie, the fnfs). those guys are just unable to recreate cool things, because they dont have the creativity, all they can do is copy what works and extract

another launchpad, another dog, another cat, this has become so boring and repetitive since the creative people are gone. the remaining 'leaders' have literally ZERO ideas. ansem coin and ansem launchpad is literally the best these morons were able to come up with. and the launchpad is doing like $80 in revenue. it would be sad if it weren't so funny really.

everything is pvp, everything is bundles, everything hopeful gets vamped by another fnf, the culture is fostering nothing but brain dead copy trading and you need a >$1000 setup + wallet db to track the 100 bundles to even begin to compete, but even then you have to join the fnfs or youre playing at a poker table against 8 other people who know their cards, the others cards, the flop turn and river and you dont

no one has fun and everyone really at this point openly hates these people

i think its just inertia and lack of alternatives (for now) but memecoins is a dying subculture in its late stages. this is about where the downfall and collapse should begin

it needs a cleanse and an exodus and maybe then there will be true people creating fun communities again, but it will take a long time

in this cycle, people will rotate to new subcultures and reborn ones, like Ethereum, like experimental DeFi and NFTs

the most parasitic sociopaths like frank will ofc always quickly move, theyre like cockroaches, but they're gonna come late enough so you'll know when they arrive its when it starts to get cringe again
