WATCH: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses the nation after what he calls an "extremely serious security incident" aboard a Flydubai flight carrying mostly Israeli passengers to Tel Aviv.

Netanyahu says one pilot stabbed the other as the plane approached Israel, and all indications show the suspect tried to crash the aircraft.

He says a passenger and crew member managed to force their way into the cockpit and stop the pilot before another crew member took control and stabilized the plane.

"They prevented a serious tragedy," Netanyahu says, praising those who stepped in. The pilot who stabbed the other is now being questioned by Saudi authorities.
