BREAKING: Israel's defense minister says the terrifying incident aboard a Flydubai flight was an "attempted jihadist terrorist attack thwarted only through the bravery of several Israeli passengers."
"The terrorist had one intention: to crash the aircraft with everyone on board."
Israeli officials say the co-pilot stabbed the captain before passengers and crew intervened. The aircraft rapidly lost thousands of feet in altitude, transmitted emergency signals and ultimately landed safely in Saudi Arabia. | @AmericaNewsroom @BillHemmer
