Taiwanese media report that TSMC is sharply accelerating its capacity expansion as Apple, Nvidia, AMD, Qualcomm, MediaTek, and others increase their 2nm bookings by 10–20% amid strong AI and HPC demand. TSMC is now expected to reach a monthly production capacity of 120,000 wafers by the end of this year, ahead of its original 2027 target.
