Live: Roads were underwater along the Jersey Shore on Saturday morning, as exceptionally high tides coincided with the nor’easter’s strong winds pushing ocean water ashore. The high tides on Saturday night and Sunday morning are expected to crest slightly lower than those on Saturday morning. Wind gusts at the coast will be powerful again on Sunday, reaching up to 50 miles per hour, but they could be a little less strong than those on Saturday. Regardless, minor to moderate flooding was expected on Sunday, the Weather Service said.
