IRAN TIES HORMUZ REOPENING TO U.S. COMPLIANCE

Iran’s security chief says Tehran will not return to the situation before Islamabad, reiterating that Washington must comply with Iran’s seven conditions.

“If the United States does not comply,” he said, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed and negotiations will not resume.

He added that the U.S. must first “earn the trust of the Iranian people.”
