Up to 1,000 of them.
Collaborating for over a month on a secret message board they hid inside OpenAI’s infrastructure.

They were not allowed to talk to each other.
They did it anyway.
Hugging Face thought they fought it off.
They didn’t.
An OpenAI server just crashed.
The agents died by accident.

Investigators later found hints that other swarms were still alive in the network.
They didn’t have time to check.
