AMD $AMD SEES $2 TRILLION ADDRESSABLE CHIP MARKET BY 2030
CEO Lisa Su says the AI accelerator market will reach $1.4T by 2030 and the server CPU market will grow to $220B on AI demand, at the company's Advancing AI conference.
OpenAI's infrastructure chief says the company received AMD Helios GPU racks three months ago and plans to work with AMD on MI500 series chips and beyond.
AMD also announced a collaboration with Cerebras pairing Helios GPU racks with Cerebras wafer-scale chips for AI inference through the Cerebras cloud service.
