Here's the thing: unless you're in mainland China, you can't buy it. STAR Market is closed to foreign retail, and no tokenization platform rails covers A-shares yet.
The hottest IPO of 2026 is unbuyable for the rest of the world.
That's the gap tokenized stocks exist to close. When the rails get there - Ondo, xStocks, bStocks, rTokens on any chain - Ethereum, Robinhood chain. Pundi X will be ready with the baskets.
Retail wins with onchain. | CXMT raised $8.6B today, the biggest semiconductor IPO in Chinese history.
Now the ASEAN story.
A chip fab like CXMT's is full of American-designed machines (Applied Materials, Lam Research, KLA). Those machines aren't a one-time purchase: they need constant spare parts, maintenance engineers, refurbishment, and process-control support for their entire life. Think aircraft, not Popmart toy.
Direct US-to-China equipment sales collapsed under export controls to $2B last year. Yet China imported $5.7B of chipmaking equipment from Singapore and $3.4B from Malaysia, 4.5X what it buys from America directly, because the same American toolmakers now manufacture and service tools from there, fully within US compliance rules.
Part of why SG and MY macro numbers only go up. The average person doesn't feel it though: cai fan and nasi portions keep shrinking while prices keep climbing.
