The reason this tool is so exciting to me is that these firms (CapGp, Fidelity, BlackRock, et al) have trillions under mgmt. When they start legging into a stock the ETF is tip of spear. The (bigger) sister MF likely buying too. And then the mkt cap of stock goes up, quants start buying it and then bf of its bigger mkt cap index funds start buying more of it. Ground Zero to all that is CapGp deciding they 'like' a stock and want to buy or add. Then there's whole buying machine that triggers. Not it won't always pan out exactly like that, esp for massive names but you can dig through here and find smaller mid stocks that it will happen to. Remember Nvidia was once 150th ranked in SPX until Big Active started buying it. That's how it started.
